Workers in the Vineyard
Matt 20:1-16 imagesCA4DP67S.jpg
Notes:
The guy hired people that were standing around at different times, but payed them all equal wage. The workers that were hired first decided to complain about the wage of the others and the owner said what he agreed to pay them and they then agreed with him. He went out at different times and saw that others were standing there, so he asked them why are you standing around all day doing nothing. They said because we have not been hired. So he hired them and they went to work. When it came time to pay everyone, he payed them all equal wages. The people who we hired first complained that they should be getting more because they worked longer. He said that he had said what he would pay them the same wage and so he was giving them the same wage.p

Notes
A groom for a wedding was coming to a town for the wedding. 10 women who had never laid with a man took flashlights, as the groom was not to be expected till nightfall. A few were wise and took extra batteries with them to the waiting area. The others were not. When their flashlights were dieing the foolish ones said to the wise ones "Give us some of your batteries, because our flashlights are going out." The wise ones said "No, we cannot, because if we do there may not be enough for us as well. Go, buy some batteries from the department store." So the women who had no batteries went to the deparment store. But has they were gone, the groom came and let in all who were waiting, including the wise women. But when the foolish ones got back they said "Let us in, for we are here." But the groom said, " Sorry, your not on the guest list."
