I think that we should do the parable of the hidden treasure. "The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field." It shows how if something is so important to someone... the measures that some people would go to, to get that item.
If you have a better/easier parable that you think would work better, just say!

"The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. 32Though it is the smallest of all your seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and perch in its branches." i still have to think of a way that this could compare to a today life style.

Okay this LoveMe sorry I haven't been on i had a zillion projects due but i think they are letting us have one more week for our project. so yeah. I'll start getting on to check this to see what i have to do.(: Sorry again, oh also I think we should give our emails out to so we dont have to search through edmodo it's very confusing.
Okay so heres the deal. I am going to depict what Jesus meant by ther parable of the Wedding Banquet, Parable of the Treasure in the field and Parable of the Mustard Seed.
The Parable of the Wedding Banquet
1Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying: 2"The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son. 3He sent his servants to those who had been invited to the banquet to tell them to come, but they refused to come.
4"Then he sent some more servants and said, 'Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner: My oxen and fattened cattle have been butchered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.'
5"But they paid no attention and went off—one to his field, another to his business. 6The rest seized his servants, mistreated them and killed them. 7The king was enraged. He sent his army and destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8"Then he said to his servants, 'The wedding banquet is ready, but those I invited did not deserve to come. 9Go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find.' 10So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find, both good and bad, and the wedding hall was filled with guests.
11"But when the king came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes. 12'Friend,' he asked, 'how did you get in here without wedding clothes?' The man was speechless.
13"Then the king told the attendants, 'Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'
14"For many are invited, but few are chosen."
In verse 2, Jesus is talking about the chosen people who didn't want to be saved by HIM. In verse 3, Jesus is talking about the chosen people who God first wanted, but who rejected HIM. (Just like the guests refused the king.) In verse 4, it is kind of like God trying to persuade them to follow HIM and be saved, but they just didn't want to be saved. In verses 5-7, Jesus is talking about the people who just ignored God, and those who went and killed Gods followers. It then talks about how God punishes those who don't follow them, by when they die, they go to hell. In verses 8-10, Jesus is talking about how God chose other people to follow him, after the other people rejected HIM. He then tells his followers to go to everywhere and look for people in every street cornerto come to the banquet.(heaven) Then his servants went out to the streets and found everyone good and bad. (us) In verses 11-12, Jesus is talking about how He gives you all the tools and the chances to make it into heaven or the banquet, but some people just reject him. In verses 13-14, Jesus is talking about how if you don't love and believe in God,you will be thrown out to the devil where there will be sadness and pain. In verse 44, Jesus is talking about how when a man found Jesus, he wnet and got rid of all his other distractions and possesions and joyfully went to follow Jesus.

The Parable of the Mustard Seed.
