Hey! We don't have partners yet so we will be with you! I have one parable we could do which is the Parable of the Wedding Banquet. Any other suggestions?
The parable: Jesus Feeds 5,000

One day some people were in the desert while Jesus was traveling and stopped to help. A surfer gave a small bag of fries and a cheese burger!
Jesus took the burger and fries and turned it into 100 bags of fries and a ton of burgers and put them on a grill and a soda truck arrived.
1 hour later with soda for evryone the meal was delicious and Jesus was happy! Then Jesus and his desciples went on thier way.
but i just found out that it has to be in modern retelling. like we have to tell it without any disciples or Jesus in it. so i'll make it without them and new people and see what you think.
One day people were at the beach in need of food. They went up to the concession stand and asked for one hot dog. when they went up there the guy gave them enough hotdogs for two for each person.
I love that!
For the parable of the Wedding Banquet:
One day a guy was having a party and told his buttlers(if thats how you spell it) to go invite all his friends. None of his friends came. He was furious. Then he told his buttlers to go find anyone and invite them. When he came to his party he saw many people but one person stood out the most. She wasn't wearing proper party clothes. The guy was very upset. He went over to her and said "Why did you wear this to my party? Excuse me, I need you to leave." For anyone can be invited but few are the people some really want.
The parable of the Hidden Treasure:
One day a guy went to the beach and had her metal detector. She found lots of gold. Instead of going to turn it in she went and hid it in a big farm. She went and sold everything she had and bought that farm because of the gold.
if you don't like it you can make something new up.
we only need to retell one. which should we use? i think we should use yours about Jesus Feeds 5,000.
