Parable 1: The Parable of the Ten Virgins
Parable 2: The Parable of the Hidden Treasure
Parable 3: The Parable of the Net
1. “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise. 3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. 4 The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. 5 The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.6 “At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!7 “Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. 8 The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’ 9 “‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’10 “But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut. 11 “Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’ 12 “But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’13 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.
The parable of the Ten Virgins is hard to grasp. But we think we have a pretty good hold of it. The parable of the ten virgins talks about ten virgins who were supposed to meet the bridegroom to go to the wedding. They all took lanterns with them into the night, five were foolish and five were smart. The smart ones brought a flask of oil with them. They went out and waited for the bridesgroom but he was delayed. The virgins fell asleep, later that night the bridegroom arrived. And one of the virgins said "Get up the bridegroom is here." The smart virgins had oil and were able to keep there lights running, but the foolish ones lanterns went out. "Give me some of your oil," one of the foolish virgins said to one of the smart virgins. But the smart one said" No, go and buy some." The five that were foolish went and bought some oil while the others went inside with the bridegroom. When the foolish virgins returned the door would not open for them. They pleaded but they were not let in. This parable teaches us that we need to be ready when Jesus comes down to get us. Because the doors will not open again once they are closed.
2. 44 “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.
The parable of the Hidden Treasure is about a man. This man was digging in a field and he found a priceless treasure. The he went and sold everything he had so that he could buy that field. When he bought that field he also got the treasure. In the same way Christ gave up everything he had so that he could save us, the "treasure." And Jesus gave up everything he had to save us.
3. “Once again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was let down into the lake and caught all kinds of fish. When it was full, the fishermen pulled it up on the shore. Then they sat down and collected the good fish in baskets, but threw the bad away. This is how it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous and throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. “Have you understood all these things?” - Matthew 13:47-51
In the parable of the net, it says "...The Kingdom of Heaven is like a net let down into the lake and caught all kinds of fish..." The net is almost like the world. The world has all kinds of fish. Some good and some bad. The parable continues to talk about how the fishermen collected the baskets and sorted good fish from bad fish, and threw away the bad. When the world ends there will be a judgement. If you devoted your life to God, acepting him as your savior and living FOR HIM. Living for GOD and not for the world, you will be accepted into the kingdom of heaven. And the ones who didn't will suffer. Overall, the parable of The Net is about Heaven and who will make it into the kingdom.

So he dug around and found this huge box he opened it up and found 1,000,000,000 dollars. he also found a note saying. "whoever finds this money may take it, but others may want it. So really quickly he buried th box and refilled the hole and and dug somewhere else. That night he sold everything he had. His house, his land, and his computer. He told his wife and she was really made but then he bought the property anyway. When they finally owned the property he dug up the box of money and brought it into his house. 3. The Parable of the Net: The kingdom of heaven is like an apple ochard. A boy walks into the orchad expecting to get alot of apples! He does pick alot of apples. Enough, to fill two whole baskets! As the boy eats his apples he realizes that some of the apples are rotten. They can't be eaten. So he sorts through the apples, throwing out the rotten ones. He keeps the good, firm, strong apples to eat.
