Parable of the Ten Virgins
NIV version of the Bible:
1"At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2Five of them were foolish and five were wise. 3The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. 4The wise, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. 5The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.
6"At midnight the cry rang out: 'Here's the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!'
7"Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. 8The foolish ones said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.'
9" 'No,' they replied, 'there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.'
10"But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.
11"Later the others also came. 'Sir! Sir!' they said. 'Open the door for us!'
12"But he replied, 'I tell you the truth, I don't know you.'
13"Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.
Our Version:
Last weekend, the house of the party will be like ten young girls who took their gifts and went to a friends. Five were smart and the other five were not. The not smart ones forgot the present for the party. The smart ones took the presents with them. The party wasn't going to start for some time, so they all fell asleep.
At the time the party was going to start, everyone cheered happily. The young girls woke up and made sure the gifts were still beside them. The not smart ones told the smart ones to give them their gifts so that they could enter the party, but the smart ones were to wise to give them their presents.
The invitation to the party said, 'If you are not in the doors before we close them or you don't have a gift with you, you will not enter.'
On their way home to get their presents, the doors were opened and closed.
"Let us in!" they cried.
But the host replied, "I tell you, the invitation said if you aren't in the doors before I close them, you don't get in."
Therefore, be ready for the doors to be closed, because no one knows when they will be shut.

Parable of the Mustard Seed-
31He told them another parable: "The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. 32Though it is the smallest of all your seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and perch in its branches."
Our Parable-
Parable of the Talents
NIV version of the Bible:
14"Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his property to them. 15To one he gave five talents[a] of money, to another two talents, and to another one talent, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey. 16The man who had received the five talents went at once and put his money to work and gained five more. 17So also, the one with the two talents gained two more. 18But the man who had received the one talent went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master's money.
19"After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them. 20The man who had received the five talents brought the other five. 'Master,' he said, 'you entrusted me with five talents. See, I have gained five more.'
21"His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!'
22"The man with the two talents also came. 'Master,' he said, 'you entrusted me with two talents; see, I have gained two more.'
23"His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!'
24"Then the man who had received the one talent came. 'Master,' he said, 'I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed. 25So I was afraid and went out and hid your talent in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.'
26"His master replied, 'You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? 27Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest.
28" 'Take the talent from him and give it to the one who has the ten talents. 29For everyone who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. 30And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'
Our version:
It will be like a CEO who went on a family trip and left his trusted employees with the money for the company. To his most trusted employee who had been working there the longest, he gave him five thousand dollars. To his next most trusted employee who had been working there the second longest, he gave two thousand dollars. To the new employee, he gave one thousand dollars. The CEO was really trusting them to take care of the money and was hoping his employees would invest the money and double the amount of it.
Then the employee who had five thousand dollars went and invested it and doubled the amount. The employee who had two thousand dollars and also doubled it. The employee who was given only one thousand dollars, went and hid the money so that no won could find it.
After a while, the CEO returned and told the workers who invested in the money and doubled it, they said to him, "Look! we took the money that you gave us, we invested it, and we doubled the amount of it!"
The CEO looked in the bank and saw that what they said was true. He said, "Well done!! I am so proud of you! You both are promoted!"
Then the employee who hid the money took it to him and said, "Look! I have taken care of the money like I promised you!"
The CEO looked and saw that nothing was gained and he said, "What have you done? I entrusted you with the money so that it would double, and you just hid it from the others. Leave! You are fired!"

The Parables of the Hidden Treasure and the Pearl
44"The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.
Remix:
There was a man named Fredward, and one day he seen an old friend on the sidewalk. They talked for a while and the friend asked Fredward he would like to go to church someday. Fredward said no thanks but maybe we can keep in touch. They exchanged numbers and went on their way. About a year later the friend called Fredward and asked if they would like to meet up sometime and talk about our relationship with Jesus. So Fredward thought about it and accepted the offer. The next day they meet up in the coffee shop and Fredward's friend started to talk about Jesus. The friend asked if he ever thought about Jesus and Fredward said no, so the friend started telling him that Jesus has a special place for him in heaven and that there were streets of gold. Fredward started believing that this was all true and he finally asked Jesus into his heart and realized he was a sinner. Then pray to our Father so that you can live eternally in heaven when you die, said the friend. Then Fredward started to pray and he said this, "Lord, I have committed many sins and I know that You only can forgive my sins and that I will have eternal life in your present. I also want to thank you for you dying on the cross for me and being in my heart now, Amen. When he was finished praying he saw that his friend was gone and no where to be found, he ran outside and he could not find him any where. Than he said to himself, "Was that Jesus? No, it can't be". So he went on in a smiling manner rejoicing and sing hymns, going to church on Sundays; Sunday school;and preaching the word of God. He has changed his attitude and everything, when he goes to the same coffee shop where he was learned the word of God and saying to himself that he has not seen his friend for a long time and that it is weird that he just disappear. So he just read a newspaper and drinking his coffee and minding his own business and nothing went wrong.
