But the wise, completed their assignment and checked it over to make sure that it was correct. Ashely, I'm soooooooooo sorry... you were right. The Parable of the Talents does mean that you should use your talents to be a blessing to others... and stuff like that... sorry! (if you need any notes or help... I have A LOT!! :))
Mr. Jacklin told us that when he talked to your class on skype (or something like that) that you all said that you wanted to do it that way (where each person does one parable)... but if you don't feel comfortable doing that... then we can work something else out. It's just, I thought that it would be easier if we each did one parable by ourselves (but we would still ask questions, verify, add on, help, etc.) since some people (cough cough- me) would (NOT PURPOSELY) do more than their share, that would be a good way to prevent that and let everyone work!! :) Of course we would all come together to retell the Parable of the Ten Virgins (we all agreed on that, right?... i'm pretty sure... yes). I think that it would take longer if we all would work on them together.. and like you said (and totally agree with you) we really need to get this done early!!! Okay, thanks!!! :)

Well thanks for the youtube ink and I will check it out and it could possibly be easier to work in a group on all of them so we can understand them all cause one that you understand I might have no clue what your talking about so I think we should work more as a group and less by our selfs. Yes... you can do talents! but make sure that your explaining the parable, not telling why having talents is important! back then, a talent money (being worth the amount of silver or gold), not the talents that you may be thiniking of like singing, acting, drawing, being funny, flexable, ...etc. Lauren, whichever one you want to do is fine with me, I'll do the other... so i guess we can all work on 1 and then come together to retell the ten virgins... lauren, i think that you have notes on the wedding banquet- so i guess you'll want to do that! so, i'll do do the ten virgins. if anyone needs help, or doesn't like this arrangement, just say, and we can find a way for everything to work out! of course we will get it done before then... don't worry! :) I put a link to you tube to a video that explains the parable of the talents... you can watch it to give you a better understanding of the parable! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yaFIsB7FGk

Okay. Well for our group project I have thought up some ideas and think that we should at less do the talents parable because I could write pages about thats and all kind of stuff. First, my real name ia ashley. I am 13 and i am in 7th grade. I love to hang out with my friends but when it comes to doing work am there and working but my friends are different. They play around so thats why im not in their group and stuff.
On this page please write which 3 parables you want to do. Please make there be a total of 6 or higher (extra credit is good, but if we end up not having enough time, that's okay too!). We need to make notes on what 3 we want to do (and decide), how we are going to explain them, and how we are going to explain 1 of the 3 to a teenager in 2009. (Remember to put ANY ideas of what you know or think they might mean on this wiki.) Please post any ideas here... we sould also have a set date to get it completed... we have till May 6th (my b-day)... so, let's get it done AT LEAST a week before then. Wedding Banquet Notes: Jesus (Son) died for everyone (or, gave evryone wedding clothes) but some didn't accept (Jews). The Jews are the chosen people, we are the people on the street corners who were originally not invited. Wedding clothes= forgivness. Invited=chosen (like I said before, Jews). God=King. Jesus=Son. Person who did not accept wedding clothes= person who did not want to spend eternal life w/ God. I think the servant are like the disciples who spread the Word... but I'm not positive...
